"Oh..." Seras also tilted her head towards him, but darted back to look out the window upon seeing him looking at her. "Sir... if you hated me... then you'd be just like them?" the vampire asked, still not gazing upon the man. "They...they'd kill me too... but then they wouldn't be able to hit me anymore.... I... I think that's the only reason why they don't... the humans I mean..."

"No... I don't let my enemies suffer... do my best to make it so they don't feel a thing less they really made me angry." He said and then beckoned Seras to come close to him.

Seras turned away from Masamune adn continued her perch upon the hard wooden chair. "I...Im sorry Sir... I...I want to stay here if you don't mind. I kind of like it." She knew herself that she was lying. The chair was most uncomfortable, and she was scared to look out the window. Despite all this, she still did so, searching for any signs of humans that would come for her. But jsut then, there was a man that walked by, an utterly familiar figure, clad in a long coat. It reminded her so much of her Hiro, adn she even thought it was at first, being so dazed, but soon decided it couldn't be and left it be. Little did she know that it perhaps was him.

Seras didn't say anythign to his comment, seemingly unaware that he had even spoke to her at all. She simply sat, staring out the window, beign mesmerized by what she thought was only a product of her imagination. "H...i...r...o..." A faint name escaped her lips, her eyes showing a strange lack of all emotions. Its color was now dull, as the man passed by the window. But then, it stuck her by surprise as he tilted his head to get a glance at the pretty girl in the window. His skin was immensly pale, his face partially covered by jet black hair. One, cold yellow eye stared at her sickly, lacking all notions of liveliness. It didn't even blink once as he stood there for moments, starign at the girl from right outside the window. And then, he was gone within seconds, retreatign into the shadows and dissappearing.

"You okay Seras? You seem a little... I dunno... Out ther." Masamune said as he walked over to her and stared out the window as well, he lightly placed his hands onto her shoulders more out of an instinct to protect her from everything unseen then anything else.

Seras was startled by the sudden hand on her shoulder, as she had not been aware of anythign he had said to her, or that he was even talking. She looked up at Masamune's face, but then swiftly down to gaze out the window again. Then, without warning, there it was again. From within the darkest shadow from a nearby house, a vivid yellow eye shone almost brightly in the darkness. There was somethign rather sickly about it, but it didn't phaze Seras in the least. Longing for her dreams to be acknowledged, she subconciously opened the window in a dazed manner. Reaching her pale hand out, the vampire yearned to touch somehting as her fangs grew somewhat larger in the moonlight. The eye drew closer, as did a dark and mysterious figure with it. He too reached out slowly, making contact with Seras' hand ever so gently. The pale limbs matched so desperately that it seemed they were meant for each other. But the mysertious man drew his arm back into his coat, leaving behind a small silver object in her hand. A small light from a nearby building momentarily shined upon his face, giving way to a beautiful man, but a frightening face alltogether. As the light went out secodns later, The figure turned away swiftly, and began to take a few steps away from her window. Moments later, he peared back with his one yellow eye showing, it draining a few tears down his cheek. Soon, he had again dissapeared into the shadows. Mesmerized, Seras brought her hand back into the room and slowly closed the window, looking out for the beautiful yellow glare again. It was nowhere to be seen. Gazing into her hadn, she saw a silver bullet, complete with its casing. However odd it may seem, she saw it and instantly recognized it as one for her very own magnum. But as she tilted it back and forth and turnd it in her hand, the hollow tip on it wasn't normal in the least. It was molded into the shape of a cross, adn sealed wiht a very odd black wax. The vampire only knew of onw such person that ever made bullets liek this one, and that was her lover. She cupped the bullet in her hands and held it tightly to her chest, still curled up on the same wooden chair.

"Seras... What in gods name just happened?" Masamune asked her, wondering just who that man had been. It was obvious that he was a vampire though he didn't know wether he'd meant some sort of harm to her or not though if he did want to kill Seras why didn't he just do it then?

Seras was still off with her mind in a lovely place, mesmerized and seemingly unaware of Masamune's question. But as the image began to fade in her head, she was more aware of her surroundings again. She noticed that there was a silver bullet in her hand and almsot wondered where it had come from. It was almost as if her real self hadn't even been aware of the previous situation. Seras then pocketed the precious peice and turned around in ehr chair, her back now to the window. The vampire tried hard to figure things out, but realism got the better of her as she simply couldn't believe what had just happened. Becasue of what the man had iven her, and what he looked like, it had to be her lover, she thought, but he was dead so it couldn't have been. And if she had been dreaming, where did the unique bullet come from? Puzzling indeed. "Hiro..." She muttered, looking back out the window at the dark town, then at the beautiful night sky.

Masamune carefully placed his hands on Seras' shoulders again and lightly shook her. "Hey.. Snap outta it, you alright?" Masamune asked her no looking very concerned at the young vampire.

"Ahh!" Seras screamed at the sudden move by Masamune, and then gently pushed his hands off her shoulders and swiftly turned around. She opened the windo again, leaning out with her hands on the window frame. She seemed confused, or perhaps just lost. "Hiro...! Where are you...? Hiro? Please.... don't go...." Her eyes burst into tears as she continued to look for her lover out in the shadows.

"Seras... Hiro's dead.. You know that." He said to her, a little saddened by her reaction when he'd placed his hands on her shoulders. He slowly walked over to the bed and sat down on it again.

"No...! Please... Don't say that...Sir... He was just..." Seras pleaded as she soon simply stared outside. The town was blackened by the night, with no signs of livliness at all. Motionless, all was cold and dark. But she had been so sure it was him, the man she jsut saw. And if it wasn't, where did the bullet come from? Was it all just a dream? The poor distraught little girl shoved her hadn in her coat pocket, soon feelgin a cold peice of metal. A smile was on her face filled iwth tears as she brought it out, but seeing as Masamune was still in the room she swiftly put it back and pretended it was nothing. "Yes... you are right...Sir" Seras managed to say, not truely believing him at all. But what he thought now was how she had been just days before, and now she was the complete opposite. She was so sure now that her Hiro was back... somehow. But the girl could not let anyoen know, for it would only lead to their harm again by the humans. She pretended to believe in what Masamune had said to her, she was to fool him.

"Seras... Are you alright?" He asked as he stared down at the ground now, wondering how she could still act so scared around him at times even though he'd never once done something to harm her.

"Hiro..." Seras said quietly, staring out the window at the stars. How she wanted so much to be like them, all shining bright amongst their own kind, all seemingly happily vivid. She was obviously trying to block out Masamune from her mind now, thinking only of her boyfriend. She was even shaky as she ocaisionally peared a quick glance over at the man. The thought of what her Hiro would say, if he was still alive, as she had spent her past time with another man, and not some 'master' would surely upset him. But even if they were to ever meet again, wouldn't he be happy for her? That she hasn't been a captive all the while, that she is ok and feeling great? Wouldn't he be in debt to Masamune? The vampire pondered all this in her pretty little head as she continued to gaze outdoors.
