Masamune continued on walking and walking. He travelled until it was so dark that he couldn't see and he was in middle of a forest now. He could of kept walking but he didn't want to anymore, he just sat down with his strong back against a tree and stared up at the black tree canopy. He remembered the feeling of Seras in his arms only a few weeks ago, her sleeping and himself singing that lullaby. He slowly began to sing it again though he doubted anyone could hear him, he was thankful for that.
"Bless me with the Leaf off of the tree On it I see The freedom reign
We are falling The light is calling Tears inside me Calm me down
Midnight calling Mist of resolving Crown me, with the Pure green leaf
Praise to my father Blessed by the water Black night, dark sky The devil’s cry"
The song was something his father had taught him, he was certain of that now since he'd regained many of his memories. He was told that the fire demons of his clan had created it and had sung it whenever they had nothing else to do or when they needed comfort. Masamune needed comfort right now and he found it in the memories of his father and in the lyrics and melody of the song.

Hiro remained afixed to his lover's current state, staring down into her pretty little face as he walked. Where his feet would take him he was unsure, but all that seemed to matter to him then was that they were together, and nothing could take that away. Not even her emotional state. It brought with it a grave sadness in his heart, but the chance of her getting well was higher now that Masamune was away and they were alone again. Soon, however, a cool breeze began to rustle the scene as a dim glow of lights shone in the distance. Making their approach, Hiro walked into the town of Aquaria with its dismal array of civilization. To him, the city was miracle, with its inhabitants either asleep at the late hour or simply on their way back from some late night buisness. Not a single soul bothered them, nor gave them the distinct look of disgust humans always showed. It brought a smile to his face. A nearby Inn appeared ot have a vacancy and so Hiro made his way over to it with his lvoer still in his hands. After a few moments hesitation, he entered, soon greeted by the owner with a less than welcome tone. "What are you doing here?" The older man croaked. Hiro looked at him with spiteful eyes. "I need a room for my friend and I... a place to stay for the night." He looked confused, then angered. "The night? Why it'll only be dark out for another hour or so." "The day then. We need a room for the day." Hiro murmered. "You two... you must be vampires, huh?" He questioned. "Yes Sir, now if you don't mind my friend is rather tired. Can we get a room or not?"
Hiro sat in the corner of a shabby little room as his Seras lay sprawled atop the bed. After a few minutes of an awkward silence, a slight moan came from the girl. Hiro quickly made his way to her, sitting on the edge of the bed, but relaxed as it was nothing. "She must be having a dream... the cute little thing..." Hiro wispered to himself, running his hand delacately through her hair. But as he stayed with her, he noticed Seras' fangs grow in. Obliging to her whim, he pulled hte sleeve up on his coat, exposing his tender wrist. With a slight push into her mouth, the vampire's teeth were able to puncture his skin, effortless to her. As the blood slowly trickled down the back of her throat, Seras' body went into convulsions. Hiro managed to hold her down as she continued to suck his blood, as he could feel hear heart beat slow once again. "If only this works..." Hiro thought, hoping to god that the taste of his blood would help her regain herself.

Masamune stayed still though at one time a vampire that had been after his blood and he fried it without a second thought, the flames shot out of his hand and hellfire burned the vampire to nothing more then ash fluttering in the air. The flame was so hot not even the bones remained. "Now... Is not the time to fuck with me..." He said simply though his voice was quiet. He sat there, not knowing where he was still.

For once in a very long time, Hiro sat beside his Seras, and cried fullheartedly. Tears ran down his cheeck, as he tried to wipe them away in fear of his image, but soon succumbed to his sadness. Here he was, finally together with his love once again, forever, and it all seemed ruined. Droplets splashed upon the sheets, and then onto Seras' beautiful skin as she lay motionless. Suddenly, she moved, almost turning towards him. At this Hiro immediately jumped, rather startled at her apparent liveliness. "S...Seras...?" He wispered, the air of the room growing stagnant. Finally, after a few hideously long moments, her eyes opened. Slowly at first, but then soon they were shifting about, looking to and fro as if her glance had suttle intelligence. "Hiro..." Tears of joy drained out of his eyes, so happy that she looked better now. "He... he's here now... everything is ok Seras..." Just then, everything Hiro had previously smiled about melted away. She had simply woken up, nothing more. Again, he cried for her.

Masamune slowly stood up, his eye showed nothing but emptyness and inside he couldn't feel anything. Joy, happiness, hope, these emotions were just hollow words to him now. All he knew was anger, sorrow, and regret. Ohh how he wished he could have been with Seras when she expressed her emotions for him, how he wished he'd decided to be with her so they both could have been happy. But now his hopes were shattered with that man Hiro. Every time he'd see Seras he'd regret it and he'd feel pain from her sight. Even the sound of her name stung him. Masamune, the mountain of a demon, began to walk along a small path, not knowing if he'd ever feel truely real or happy again.

Hiro sat in the darkened corner of his room his head buried in his knees. Seras still sat with her subconcious self on the bed before him, unaware of the greta pain in her lover's heart she was creating. "We...we were so close..." He wispered to know one in particular. "Why... why did it have to be this way... if god hates us so... then why are we still here...?" Moments went by after the passing of his gentle words of hatred, as finally Seras stood up. Startled, Hiro approached her cautiously, then hugged her tight with tear filled eyes. "You see... he will never leave us..." Seras wispered to her. But then, contradicting her words, the cute little vampire escaped Hiro's embrace and gently stumbled to the door and left. Hiro watched her go, doing nothing in his power to stop her. He simply sat back down in his corner, staring at the shabby wooden floor beneath him. Perhaps it will do her some good to get out in the sun while she still can... What seemed like nearly an hour passed, and just as he was about to drift off into a slumber, Hiro heard a rather vivid scream outside. It sounded close, and was unmistakably Seras'. She was in trouble. As he rushed outside and scoped the immediate area, what he found mortified him as it did anger him. In a neighboring alleyway, a man had shoved Seras to the ground, undressing her forcefully as he raped her. An immense hatred for humans that had always burned inside him broke out once again, as Hiro brought out his pistol, and fired. The large calibered bullet tore through the man's back, leaving an exit wound the size of his fist. As he fell, the unknown assailant caught 4 more rounds before making contact with the ground. By now, Seras had managed to hide behind her lover, but Hiro didn't seem to notice. He simply continued to destroy the man before him, now a carcass riddled with bullets. The vampire in his long coat towered over the body, firing the last of his 9 rounds into the victim's head, splattering its contents upon the dirt alleyway. He didn't stop there, however, as Hiro dropped his pistol and drew a knife. As if her were possesed, he began stabbing the man repeatedly, shredding what was left of his body as he soaked himself in a shower of blood. Finally, as he rose his blade again, Seras caught his hands and pleaded in a rather soft and quivering voice. "Please... that's enough... no more... please... he's dead Hiro... please... stop now..." At this Hiro dropped his knife and cried. Turning, he caught a heartfilled embrace from his lover, whom sat with her vagina defiled by a man she had never met beforehand. Again, she felt so ashamed and disgusted with herself, yet sad for her Hiro. "Seras... you... you're alright...?" Hiro questioned in a shaky tone as he too returned her loving hug. "I... Im sorry... Hiro... I..." Seras stammered, unsure herself of what had even overcame her in the last day or so. "Seras... please don't apologize... I... Im just... so happy that you're alright now..." The cute vampire sat with her boyfriend in the cold alleyway, as she simply broke down and bawled her pretty eyes out. She felt so scared and violated right then, sickened by her previous unknown state and of what had just happened to her. "Im so sorry...Hiro... I... I was so scared..." Seras said, feeling hopeless and hated. Hiro held her tight, comforting her the best he could as her true lover. "There there, my beautiful Seras... everything will be alright now... don't you worry..." The too vampires sat together in the alleyway, as the morning sun shone high and bright, much to both of their dislike. After gathering her scattered articles of clothing, Seras got dressed and the two headed back to their room at the inn, hand in hand.

Masamune eventually found himself in outside of an Inn. he stared up at the sign for a few moments before walking inside. he bought himself a room and walked down the hall, his loud footfalls which were known to people only to be his echoed through the hallway corridor, even sending slight vibrations through the building. He unlocked his door and walked inside, the aura he let leak out now once again showing it was him though humans themselves merely got a worried feeling around him, almost everything other than a human could sense just what and who he was by the feel. "Seras..." He muttered to himself, apparently having forgotten all other words except for her name, Masamune layed down on his bed, it creaking under his muscled weight as he stared up at the ceiling. "Seras... How I want to see you again..."

Hiro had heard the loud, echoing of nearby footsteps, a nervous feeling overcoming him as they passed by their door. Soon, he pulled the blinds covering hte windo back just enough to see outside through a mere slit. A smaller crowd of people began to gather outside, a few running to and fro as if to get public attention. Hiro knew waht was about to begin, and they had little time. Waking Seras from her mid-day slumber, he kindly brought her to her feet. "Seras... I know you may not want to... but... we have to go... right now. Im so sorry..." he spoke softly, a specific kindness in his voice that made her love him all the more. "Its alright Hiro... I... Im so glad we can be together again... no matter where we go..." Having an actual answer directed towards him, Hiro felt something strange growing deep within his heart. Happiness. For the first time in many years, he felt the feeling of true happiness, and it brought a smile to his face. He took his lovers hand in his, leading her out the doorway and down the seemingly longer hallway. They passed a few other rooms on their way, all of which had their doors closed. The crowd outside had gotten significantly larger when the two vampires made their way outside of the Inn, and their odd behavior in the sunlight drew much more attention than intended. A few of the townsfold aproached them. "Hey you two! I haven't seen you around here before, are you new in town?" Immediately, Hiro took up the conversation. "Yes, yes we are. And if you don't mind, we're in a hurry Sir." The man looked suspiciously a the two, then it seemed to fade. "You two didn't see anything strange this morning?" Grinding his teeth slightly, he answered. "No we were asleep. Both of us." Just as Hiro and Seras turned to leave, the man questioned them further before letting them out of his sight. "One of our residents here claimed to have heard a female scream, just before a few gunshots. You wouldn't happen to know anything about this man's death, would you miss?" Not answering, Seras grasped her lover's hand tighter as they began to run. Soon, however, screams were building up behind them as the humans caught on. "There they are! Its them. Kill the damned vampires!" Without so much as a glance back, Hiro and Seras ran for the outskirts of Aquaria, heading for the nearby forest.
